FEP has been notified that a Plan intends to submit a significant volume of Bulk claims transactions beginning at approximately 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET) on Friday, August 14.
All FEP® systems are operating normally, and no maintenance activities are scheduled during this timeframe.
As a result, transaction processing during this period may experience higher-than-normal volumes, which could lead to delays in MQ-Bulk and SFTP-Batch claims processing and/or acknowledgments and claim response records for claims submitted after 11:00 p.m. ET.
At this time, no impact is anticipated for files or transactions received prior to 11:00 p.m. ET. Plans whose normal submission schedules occur earlier in the evening are not expected to experience any disruption.
